Touring Technician
Joshua (Yoshie) Kenny is a theatre technician and lighting designer with over 25 years' experience across touring, venue management, major events, and corporate projects. Yoshie has collaborated with nationally recognised companies and festivals such as Dancenorth Australia, TheatreiNQ, Phunctional Arts, North Australian Festival of Arts, Cairns Festival, Brisbane Festival and Sydney Festival.
He previously worked as a venue technician at Mackay Entertainment and Convention Centre, Townsville Civic Theatre, and Townsville Entertainment Centre. Applying his creative and technical expertise to the corporate sector, he has worked on large-scale corporate events for clients such as Telstra, EB Games, the Housing Industry Association, and the Commonwealth Bank of Australia.
Yoshie is passionate about regional arts, Shakespeare, musical theatre, and mentoring the next generation of technicians.
