Dancing with the Chunky Move since 2012 Tara has performed in Rule of Thirds, Depth of Field, Complexity of Belonging, 247 Days, Anti— Gravity and in 2018 Common Ground. Tara was appointed Chunky Move’s Artistic Associate in 2016 assisting with creation/rehearsal directorship of LUCID, a major scale physical theatre production for the company, conducted public programs, curated film event Frames for Change and created solo work From The Centre.

Her collaborative dance film productions with The Samaya Wives were awarded an Australian Dance Award for Best Dance on Film in 2017 and won the International 60second Dance Film Competition in 2016 in both Denmark and Finland.

She premiered The Perception Experiments for Araluen Arts Centre, Alice Springs with Frances Snowdon and Madeleine Krenek in 2017. Previously she has worked with Choreographer Douglas Wright for The Kiss Inside in New Zealand's International Festival of the Arts 2016. Also that year Tara was Choreographic and Rehearsal Assistant for Cella in Wuppertal, Germany for award winning dance makers/performers, Narelle Benjamin and Paul White, for Colours Dance Festival Dusseldorf.

Tara was nominated for Green Room Award for Best Female Dancer in 2017 for her role in Be You Self. Previously she performed in Australian Dance Theatre full time from 2007 - 2012 under directorship of Garry Stewart in Proximity, Be Your Self, Worldhood, G and Devolution. Her performances in Be Your Self and Proximity saw her nominated for the Helpmann Award for Best Female Dancer in a Dance or Physical Theatre Production in 2010 and 2012 respectively.

Completing all Royal Academy of Dancing grades in Classical Ballet by 15 years old she went full-time in Newcastle at Marie Walton-Mahon dance academy until 2003 when she furthered her studies of contemporary dance studying Advanced Diploma of Dance at Western Australian Academy of Performing Arts 2004 - 2006. She has now over 10 years professional arts industry experience touring numerous time nationally and internationally.
