Dancenorth are looking for a talented Company Manager to join our team who will be responsible for managing the delivery of Dancenorth's program of activities. The Company Manager will ensure internal systems and operations are managed smoothly, efficiently and in a financially responsible manner.

Under the direction of the Executive Director the Company Manager is responsible for working closely with all staff to ensure the efficient planning, management and realisation of Dancenorth’s program of activities. This includes but is not limited to the producing of new work, tour preparation/management and oversight of all financial administration, under the direction of the Executive Director, and Finance Manager.

Exceptional attention to detail, proven planning skills, initiative and ability to juggle multiple projects are all essential attributes to the role.

As a representative of the company you will exhibit a professional attitude, collegiate demeanour and a working knowledge of a touring arts company.

The Company Manager reports to the Executive Director, works closely with the Artistic Director and collaboratively with all other staff. The Administration/Event Coordinator reports directly to the Company Manager.



Applicants must be available for 1st round interviews on Wednesday 4th & Thursday 5th of July 2018.

2nd round interviews will be held in Townsville on Tuesday 10th July 2018.

Dancenorth will pay for a return economy flight from a capital city and overnight accommodation for selected candidates required to travel a reasonable distance for 2nd round of interviews.
