Now in its third consecutive year, Dance Tropics Dance is Dancenorth’s annual all ages celebration of dance, music and food.

Dancenorth is once again joining forces with Townsville’s renowned 1RAR band and popular Otto’s Fresh Food Markets to deliver a festive night out under the stars.

The night will feature live performances from the Dancenorth Ensemble and numerous local dance groups, as well as street food, activities for kids and a glitter tent for festival goers to get their sparkle on.

The annual Dance Tropics Dance event is Townsville’s family dance party under the stars, and this year’s theme will not disappoint…iron your flares, dust off your platform shoes and haul that spandex top out of the dress up box…it’s time to get on down, to DISCO town.

With all proceeds from this fantastic event going towards charities, Dancenorth Community programs and Ronald McDonald House, people can enjoy a fabulous night out also knowing they are contributing to help their local community.

Dancenorth would like to thank and acknowledge the Townsville City Council, for their on-going support during the three years of this dynamic community event.

Stay tuned for the announcement of Dance Tropics Dance 2019 line up.
